Condominium fees

To buy real estate in France, you must first find a property that fits your needs and budget. You can search for ads online, look at real estate agents or ads in local newspapers. Once you have found a property that interests you, you will have to negotiate the price with the seller. If you agree on the price, you will have to sign a sales agreement, which is a preliminary contract that commits both parties to sell and buy the property. Then you will have to pay the notary and real estate agency fees. Finally, you will have to sign the final deed of sale in front of a notary to finalize the purchase.

HOW TO ORGANISE AN ASSEMBLY?

Once a year, the condominium manager must convene a meeting of the condominium owners within 6 months of the end of the financial year to vote on the provisional budget. But there are other cases where a general meeting of shareholders is necessary in a condominium.  The trustee can organise a general meeting as soon as he deems it useful, this is called an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting), this meeting allows him to respond to an urgent and major concern. For example, work is necessary, when an event obviously disturbs the peace and quiet of the co-ownership.
